Creating Cross Terms

Befehl:

Tools -> Create Cross Terms...

When analysing factorial designs or when establishing regression models second order cross terms should be included to allow for interactions of the independent variables. The command Tools/Create Cross Terms... calculates all second and third order cross terms of a set of selected variables and appends them to the matrix or stores them in the matrix clipboard.

Hint:

Please note that the new cross term variables are always interval scaled. If the corresponding selected variables are of ordinal or nominal type their ordinals will be used to calculate the cross terms.
