Favorites

Command: File -> Favorites

The favorites provide a simple means to keep a list of often needed files besides the ever-changing list of the recently used files. Clicking the command file File / Favorites displays the list of favorites as part of the submenu:

In order to add the currently loaded file to the list of favorites simply click File / Favorites / Add Current File.

The favorites can be edited by clicking the command File / Favorites / Edit Favorites.

The list of favorites can be rearranged by drag an drop, or sorted by clicking the sort button . Click the "plus" button in order to add the current file to the favorites. In order to remove a file from the list select the entry and click the "minus" button.

If you want to add the list of recently used files, click the button. This adds all entries of the recently used files list. Please note that duplicates are not resolved. You have to edit the favorites manually after adding the recently used files.

Hint: A file selected via the list of favorites is not added to list of recently used files. Thus opening many files from the favorites does not "destroy" the list of recently used files.
