Saving Data in ASC Format
The ASC format is the standard export format for DataLab data. After clicking the command Files/Save/ASC Format, the user has to specify the name of the ASC-file to be created. Please note that all lines in the comment are concatenated to a single line during the save operation. The extension .ASC is automatically added even if another extension is entered. If the user enters a file name of an already existing file, the system issues a warning message and asks whether to change the file name, overwrite the existing file or cancel the Save command.
