Delete Data

Edit -> Data -> Delete -> |
Data can be deleted either column wise or row wise. All deleted columns/row are removed from the matrix, the remaining columns/rows are moved to fill up the gaps.
Columns |
Columns to be deleted can be selected by the object/variable selector. As an alternative columns may be deleted by using the context menu of the data editor. |
Rows |
Rows to be deleted can be selected by the object/variable selector. Alternatively rows may be deleted by using the context menu of the data editor. |
Marked Columns |
All columns are deleted which contain at least one marked cell. |
Marked Rows |
All rows are removed which contain at least one marked cell. |
Unmarked Columns |
All columns are deleted which do not contain any marked cells. |
Unmarked Rows |
All rows are removed which do not contain any marked cells. |
Hint: |
When deleting columns or rows DataLab can either resize the data matrix or fill the empty columns/rows with zero values. In order to control the particular behavior you have to set the program option "Adjust matrix size when deleting rows or columns". |
